Los Angeles, December 16, 2025 — This Christmas, Netflix is shaking up the playbook on holiday traditions with a halftime you won't want to miss. Global icon Snoop Dogg will take center stage for Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party, the halftime show during Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday on December 25, live from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Minnesota Vikings will face the Detroit Lions, but all eyes will be on the Doggfather when the clock hits halftime.

Snoop Dogg takes the reins at halftime, promising chart-topping tracks, plenty of holiday spirit, and special guests, making for what is sure to be an unforgettable performance.

Snoop Dogg said: "NFL, Netflix and your uncle Snoop on Christmas Day? We're servin' up music, love and good vibes for the whole world to enjoy. That's the kind of holiday magic Santa can't fit in a bag.”

Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, said:  “Christmas Gameday just got a whole lot cooler. We’re uniting two global cultural juggernauts, the NFL and the one and only Snoop Dogg, who will drop the hottest halftime show. As a West Coast girl and huge fan myself, I can confidently say this is the ultimate gift we could give our members. We’re ready to drop it like it’s hot this holiday celebration!”

To help share the news, Netflix has released an announcement video, narrated by legendary funk icon George Clinton.  Don’t miss Snoop Dogg, live at halftime, only on Netflix. This Christmas, the party’s in Minnesota—and everyone’s invited.

NFL Christmas Gameday returns to Netflix in 2025 with two marquee games that will showcase NFC division rivals facing-off. Streaming live on Netflix, Cowboys-Commanders will air at 1 pm ET from Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, followed by the Lions-Vikings at 4:30 pm ET from the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pregame coverage begins at 11am ET.

Last year, Netflix kicked off its inaugural Christmas Gameday with international superstar Beyoncé performing at halftime of the Ravens-Texas game, with the four-time Emmy-nominated Beyoncé Bowl. The Netflix Christmas Day games will air on CBS affiliates in the competing team cities and be available on U.S. mobile devices with NFL+. CBS Sports will produce the games, with NFL Media producing the pre, post, and halftime programming. EverWonder Studio will executive produce NFL Christmas Gameday.

Continuing the tradition started in 2024, each team playing on Christmas Day will be wearing a festive, holiday-inspired patch on their uniform in both their Week 16 and Christmas Day games. Featuring the NFL shield backed by two candy canes, the 2025 holiday jersey patch captures the excitement of football during the holiday season.
